Well, it's been a whole 6 years. . . . . I can't believe it - so much has happened in that short time. However, God has helped us weather the storms that have come along, and here we are - celebrating our 6th Wedding Anniversary.
Our anniversary is actually on Sunday, May 4, but we tend to make a weekend of it - Damon is gone to his Dad's this weekend - and here we are. . . . all alone . . . . all weekend. You get the picture! HA HA!
This evening, I decided to surprise Philip with a romantic dinner. What was on the menu? Several of Philip's favorite dishes.
Entree: Grilled Steak with Chipotle Gorgonzola Cream Sauce
Baked Potato with all the fixings
Salad
Wine
1st Dessert: Chocolate Dipped Strawberries (Just a teaser)
2nd Dessert: Homemade Sweet Potato Pie (with real sweet potatoes - no cans!) for Philip
Apple Dumpling for me - I don't do sweet potatoes.
I set the table nicely, and put on some romantic music for a romantic candlelight dinner.
What's on the agenda for this weekend? I'm getting a massage tomorrow, and tomorrow night we will go to a high $$ restauraunt of my choice (I'll probably get Lobster!), and have a relaxing, romantic weekend together. Couldn't ask for more . . . . .
Talk to y'all later . . . . . much later! (hehehe)
